API RECORDINGS was created by the artist Apache Indian and his management team at BHX Management to satisfy the demand for a quality record label in their home town of Birmingham, UK.

Based on the legendary Tamla Motown ethic and entrepreneurial skills of Richard
Branson’s Virgin Empire, API Recording's sole purpose is to ensure that the talent of the UK and the midlands in particular is given a chance to shine worldwide.

Artists are given the support to ensure that their music and talent is created to the best of their ability and that they have a full understanding of how the industry works, the negative ideas as well as the positive sides!!! Once ready the material is then made available World wide either via the internet or/and physical distribution with API's many partners around the globe.

Although the labels first releases are Reggae influenced, the label is not genre specific and is already working with potentially huge stars on the global stage in the Rock, Pop and Hip Hop genres.

Our first releases have already been picked up throughout the globe including support from Kiss Video Channels, Sony Asian TV Network, Universal Distribution and licenses secured in Japan, Brazil, USA, South Africa, Canada, all over Europe and of course throughout the internet via itunes, Napster, Amazon and the like.
